Melia Garner

Melia has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce and is certified to teach Pre-K through 4th grade. After completing a year of student teaching in Greenville ISD, Melia joined Phoenix Charter School in 2005.

“I have been teaching here for three years, and enjoy the atmosphere and opportunities that Phoenix has to offer," Melia says. "My husband Darrin and I both teach here at Phoenix. Teaching is such a reward to me. I think these kids are so special, and it is an honor to be able to guide them through their education as both a positive role model and a caring teacher.”
